Meetings at Some
Public and Private institutions in Kyrgyzstan and Cooperation Steps
by MPM
Following the cooperation intercourses in
Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, MPM Delegation continued with official
visits to some productivity related organizations in Bishkek,
Kyrgyzstan between 07-11 December 2009 within the context of studies
titled “Initiation of Establishing Productivity Collaboration
Networks in Asia and Caucasus” referred in MPM 2007-2011 Strategic
Plan and 2009 Work Plan. As well as The Turkish Embassy in Bishkek,
MPM Delegation also visited two universities, one Ministry and a
nongovernmental organization and took some important steps for
collaboration.
MPM Delegation composed of Deputy Secretary
General Nurettin PEŞKİRCİOĞLU and Head of International Relations
Department Dilek ÖZDEMİR hold official talks with representatives of
the TİKA Programme Office in Bishkek, Republic of Kyrgyzstan
Ministry of Economic Regulations, Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Manas
University, Kyrgyz State Technical University and Kyrgyz-Turkish
Businessmen Association (KITİAD). MPM Delegation also paid a
courtesy visit to the Turkish Embassy in Bishkek.
MPM delegation initially visited Turkish
Embassy in Bishkek within the context of the programme coordinated
by Turkish Cooperation and Development Agency (TİKA) and gave some
technical information to the Turkish Ambassador Nejat AKÇAL about
the visits. Besides the technical issues, the developments in Kyrgzy-Turkish
relations were also evaluated during this visit. Nejat AKÇAL gave
some information on cultural, economic and social developments in
Bishkek and added the embassy is always ready to give every kind of
support to MPM’s studies in Bishkek.
On December the 9th 2009, MPM delegation met
the representatives of Manas University. The two parties made
presentations about the studies and activities carried out by the
organizations at the meeting in which Deputy Rector Remzi ATAOĞLU,
deans and instructors attended. MPM delegation made a presentation
on 16th World Productivity Congress and 2010 European Productivity
Conference and the outputs of Euroductivity Project “Development of
an e-learning Project on Productivity”. After the exchange of views
at the meeting, the two sides have reached a deal on signing a
Protocol on the issues of expert exchange, common research projects,
consultancy and training. The protocol document was submitted for
the approval and signature of the Rector.
On the same day, MPM Delegation continued with
Kyrgyz State Technical University contacts. At the meeting where the
University Rector Professor Dr. Murataly Jamanbaev, deans and
department heads from related faculties were present, 16th World
Productivity Congress and MPM services have been introduced with a
presentation, and participants to the meeting have been invited to
the Congress. The two sides have signed a Cooperation Protocol about
expert exchange, common research projects, public relations and
training. Stating that they are working to improve the cooperation
between industry and university and the technical infrastructure,
Murataly Jamanbaev demanded MPM to play the role of intermediator
for them to learn the Turkish experiences.
After the two meetings realized at two
universities in Bishkek, MPM Delegation have met with the
represantatives of Ministry of Economic Regulations the very same
day. With the participation of the Minister Mr. Jenishbek BAIGUTTIEV,
a very fruitful meeting has been held where a presentation on the
MPM services provided to industry enterprises and the 16th World
Productivity Congress was made. The Minister Mr. Jenishbek
BAIGUTTIEV has been invited to the 16th World Productivity Congress
and 2010 European Productivity Conference to be held in Türkiye.
The next day, MPM Delegation visited the
Kyrgyz-Turkish Businessmen Association (KITIAD) representatives on
10 December 2009. Here, MPM activities and services related to
businessmen as well as the 16th World Productivity Congress and 2010
European Productivity Conference were introduced in a broad sense.
Intercourses on the problems of Turkish businessmen in Kyrgyzstan
and cooperation opportunities between the two sides were realized at
the meeting where President Hüseyin MUSLU and member businessmen of
the Association were present. KITIAD representatives stated their
complacency about the meeting and they asserted their motivation to
participate in the Congress with a broad delegation. KITIAD
President Hüseyin MUSLU stated that it will be beneficial for the
employees of the Turkish organizations to take training and
consultancy services and both TIKA and KITIAD will provide
assistance for establishing the necessary platform for the
organization.
After the official visits, MPM Delegation met
with TİKA Program Coordinator Tayfun ATMACA and evaluated the
contacts that had been realized with relevant stakeholders in
Kyrgyzstan as well as the further steps to be taken. TİKA Programme
Coordinator stated that they will always be willing to provide every
kind of assistance in the context of the studies conducted in
Kyrgyzstan.
Completing the official visits in Kyrgyzstan,
MPM Delegation returned Ankara on December the 11th 2009.
