European Productivity Conference held in Grimsby England
2009 European Productivity Conference
conducted by European Association of National Productivity Centres (EANPC)
was held at the Grimsby Institute in Grimsby between 28-30 October
2009. MPM Delegation consisted of Secretary General and Member of
the Board Kerim ÜNAL, Member of the Board Bekir Şinasi ÖZDEMİR,
Congress Coordinator Rasim YILMAZ, Expert İlknur YAVUZ FROLET and
Yonca GÖKTAŞ representing Congress Organization Firm Flap Tour.
16th World Productivity Congress and 2010
European Productivity Conference was also introduced at the fair
stand arranged at the Conference. Congress Promotional Film was
shown at the fair stand and Congress First Announcement and Call for
Papers and Promotional brochures about Turkiye were distributed.
A presentation was made about the last
developments related to the 2010 Congress by Secretary General and
Member of the Board Kerim ÜNAL at the Congress at which public
sector support policies, innovation, global economic crisis and
social productivity issues were discussed.
A meeting about the 16th WPC and 2010 EPC
was also held one day before the EPC Congress on 27 October 2009 at
which the representatives of European Association of National
Productivity Centres (EANPC) and World Confederation of Productivity
Science (WCPS). The parties of the Congress which met for the first
time since they signed the Memorandum in 2008, discussed their own
responsibilities. The decision that the parties will be responsible
for coordinating the themes seperately was taken. A presentation was
made related to the studies conducted related to the organization of
the Congress after the Congress Promotional Film was seen at the
meeting during which the keynote speakers and the members of the
Honorary Committee were also discussed. Secretary General of the
Chinese Productivity Centre and Vice President of WCPS Chen
Shenchang informed that a group of 150 people and the Premier of
China will probably attend the Congress. Secretary General of UN has
also been invited to the Congress.
MPM Delegation also attended to the EANPC
Board Meeting which has been held twice a year. At the meeting The
Centre for Occupational Safety from Finland was unanimously decided
to be a member of the Organisation within the context of EANPC’s
enlargement policy. EANPC’s Statues was also discussed at the
meeting and the Productivity Network Survey forms produced in order
to establish a network were also distributed to the members. The
results will be shared with the EANPC members in order to form new
partnerships.
MPM Delegation also visited the TV Channels at
the Grimsby Institute and the Laboratories.
The participation of the MPM Delegation to EPC
Conference and the EANPC Board meeting is expected to produce
fruitful results not only for the organization of the 16th World
Productivity Congress but also for the new project partnerships.
