MPM has been represented in the “14. International Productivity and Quality Research Conference” held in Egypt

 

The “14th International Conference on Productivity and Quality Research” (ICPQR 2009) organized annually since 1987 and which is one of the most important organizations in the field of productivity and quality, has been held in Alexandria, Egypt hosted by “Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport”.

 

The paper themed “Productivity Manager” in which global and best practices are described and which has been prepared by MPM International Relations Department experts Hürol Mete and Belçim Aytekin; has been presented within the scope of the conference held between the dates of  19-23 October 2009.

 

Approximately 250 people, out of whom 50 people were from abroad, have attended the conference that kicked off with an inaugural ceremony and speeches. On the third day of the conference, in which 9 sessions were held and 29 papers were presented, Belçim Aytekin presented the “Productivity Manager” declaration and Hürol Mete attended the “Productivity and Quality Management in Organizations” session as a panellist.

 

The introduction regarding the “16th World Productivity Congress and 2010 European Productivity Conference”, that will be held in Türkiye next year, was also performed and the related presentation documents were handed out to the participants of the Conference.

 

As it’s known, Technical Consultant Dr. F. Zehra Özkan and Dilek Özdemir, the Director of the International Relations Department had jointly represented our Centre and had participated in the 13th International Conference on Productivity and Quality Research held in Finland last year and within the scope of the conference they had presented the introduction of Euroductivity project  by expressing the experiences and studies of MPM regarding the generalization of the issue of productivity and quality in organizations.
