MPM’s Delegation was
in Azerbaijan, Baku to initiate Collaboration Networks with the
Relevant Organizations
MPM delegation had some contacts in Azerbaijan
between 19-23 October 2009 under the context of its studies titled
“Initiation of Establishing Collaboration Networks in Central Asia
and Caucasus” depending on its Strategic Plan and 2009 Work
Programme and signed memorandum of understanding with two different
organizations.
MPM delegation was comprised of; Member of the
Board Mr. Ramazan YILDIRIM, Secretary General and Member of the
Board Mr. Kerim ÜNAL and expert Ms. Fatma ÇÝL. MPM delegation had
some contacts with some public and private sector organizations.
Within the context of the programme coordinated by TÝKA (Turkish
Cooperation and Development Agency), MPM delegation initially
visited Kafkas University and made a presentation about the
introduction of MPM’s studies, activities and 16th World
Productivity Congress and 2010 European Productivity Congress and
the outputs of Euroductivity Project “Development of an e-learning
Project on Productivity”. After some exchange of views at the
meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the
parties on expert exchange, common research projects, consultancy
and training.
Following the meeting at Kafkas University MPM
delegation visited Turkish Embassy in Baku and gave information on
the technical and organizational issues of the programme to Turkish
Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mr. Hulusi KILIÇ. MPM delegation visited
Azerbaijan Productivity and Competitiveness Centre (MRMM) on 21
October and introduced its services and activities. MPM delegation
also informed the Center about the details related to the 16th World
Productivity Congress and 2010 European Productivity Conference.
Following exchange of opinions, a Memorandum of Understanding was
also signed with MRMM on some issues including expert exchange,
training and consultancy and common research projects. Following the
contacts with MRMM, MPM delegation visited TUSÝAB
(Azerbaijan-Turkish International Industrialists and Business
Society (TUSIAB) and made a comprehensive presentation on MPM’s
studies and details about the Congress to be conducted in 2010.
Exchange of opinions on the problems of Turkish businessmen were
made and the representatives were invited to the Congress. TUSÝAB
representatives stated that they were pleased about the visit and
they would like to participate to the Congress.
MPM Delegation also had a meeting at The
Ministry of Economic Development Scientific Economic Research
Institute and introduced MPM’s studies and the Congress. The
authorities of the Institute stated that they were very pleased
about the visit and that they would like to develop their relations
with MPM.
MPM delegation returned Ankara on 23 October
after the visits and meetings with the relevant organizations.
