EANPC Meeting Held In Brussels

The annual meeting of EANPC (European Association of National Productivity Centres) has been held in Brussels on 24-25 September 2009. The participants were; Mr. Wolfgang Schroeter, EANPC President and Director of German Centre For Productivity and Innovation Centre (RKW); Mr. Peter Rehnström, former President of EANPC; Mr. Marc De Greef, EANPC Secretary General; Mr. Kerim Ünal, Secretary General of EANPC and Vice-President of EANPC and Ms. Veronica De Broeck.

Initially, the details related to the organization of 16th World Productivity Congress and 2010 European Productivity Conference which will be hosted by MPM was discussed at the meeting. It was stated that the preparatory arrangements about the Congress were comprehensive and the studies conducted by EANPC were also mentioned. The topics of the papers were also discussed and the participation of EU-OSHA President and Mr. Olli Rehn, EU Enlargement Commissioner are also desired and some attempts will be made in this regard.  The means for securing intense participation from Europe to the Congress were also on the agenda.

The other subjects discussed at the meeting were EANPC enlargement and amendment of EANPC regulations.
