The Bid Process For The 16th World Productivity Congress Has Been Completed

 

 

The bid process related to the 16th World Productivity Congress and 2010 European Productivity Conference which will take place in Antalya on 2-5 November 2010 has been completed. The company which has won the bid is “Flap Congress and Meeting Services Automotive and Tourism Ltd (Flap Tour). Flap Tour is among the A Group Travelling Agencies and a member to some national and international organizations such as; Turkish Associaton of Travel Agencies (TURSAB), IAPCO, ICCA, IATA, UFTAA and has TS EN ISO 9001:2000 quality system certificate. 

  

Before the service contract has been signed, the company determined three options for the Venue of the Congress and offered these options to MPM. After this stage, a service contract was signed with Flap Tour on 24 August 2009 under the supervision of Congress Steering Committee and Organization Committee.

 

After the evaluation stage, the venue of the Congress was determined: Maritim Pine Beach Resort in Belek which is 33 km far from the Antalya Airport. Pine Beach Culture and Congress Center has different kinds of saloons having a capacity varying from 12 to 2575 people.  The Hotel hosts many national and international seminars, meetings and congresses each year and it has an 12,500 m² area of high technologic infrasructure.

 

The Memorandum has been signed by Secretary General and Member of the Board Mr. Kerim Ünal, President of WCPS (World Confederation of Productivity Science) Mr. John Heap and Former President of EANPC Mr. Peter Rehnström
